THE ORIELS – MUSIC OF THE PSALMS

The Oriel Singers present a programme celebrating music inspired by the psalms, culminating in Leonard Bernstein’s own arrangement of his iconic Chichester Psalms in their original Hebrew. This powerful work, featuring Cassian Pichler-Roca, a chorister from Tewkesbury Abbey Schola Cantorum, is accompanied by organ, harp and percussion. Other works include pieces by Monteverdi, Schubert, Purcell, Chilcott, Poulenc, Biebl and Firsova.
