This fast-paced, fully illustrated talk takes you on an exhilarating journey through space and time. From the earliest times when humans made art, we have visual records of people looking up, wondering what’s going on above them: aboriginal lightning gods, stone age structures, Islamic astronomy, the Aztec sun god and Hubble ‘photographs’ all help to tell the fascinating story.
